Wiltz

The municipality of Wiltz signed the Pakt vum Zesummeliewen on 21 April 2021. A great deal of work had already been done before the municipality signed the Pakt vum Zesummeliewen as part of the preparation of the Municipal Integration Plan (PCI). 

The diagnosis was carried out by Caritas. 

Several good practices that already existed within the municipality of Wiltz before the signing of the Pakt vum Zesummeliewen are: Nachbarschaftsdienst Eise gudden Noper, Jugendbureau Eislek, Centre-Oasis.

To prepare the PCI (Plan communal intégration), the City Management department of the municipality of Wiltz organised several citizen workshops on 4, 11 and 25 October 2021. These workshops gave citizens the opportunity to give their views on the final version of the PCI. Discussion evenings were organised to address topics such as land-use planning (in connection with the new "Wunne mat der Wiltz" district), “tiers lieux” and other areas that concern intercultural living together.

The PCI (Plan communal intégration) was presented to the steering committee on 31 May 2022 and shortly afterwards to the Council of Aldermen. 

The actions listed will be implemented over the next few years, in various stages and closely linked to the Wunnen-mat-der-Woltz project. 

The municipality of Wiltz signed the « Gemengepakt fir interkulturellt Zesummeliewen » on the 27/03/2024. 

A steering committee of 10 members coming from the council of eldermen, the town council, the commission for intercultural living together and organisations such as Coopérations, Centre Oasis, Kannerhaus et Jugendbureau Eislék has been set up to oversee the various stages of the « Gemengepakt fir interkulturellt Zesummeliewen » project.
