The municipality of Lorentzweiler signed the « Gemengepakt vum interkulturelle Zesummeliewen » on the 19.05.2025.

A steering committee, coming from the city council and the consultative commission on integration, is currently being set up to oversee the various stages of the “Gemengepakt vum interkulturelle Zesummeliewen” project.

While the municipality of Lorentzweiler already carries out many actions to promote intercultural living together like the cultural Weekend (Weekend Culturel 2026 - Lorentzweiler ) or the intercultural game night (More than one story - Lorentzweiler ), a review of the situation highlighted other areas of additional interest.

This review is based on an awareness-raising letter sent out to the residents of the municipality of Lorentzweiler and an in-depth analysis carried out by our contracted partner CEFIS. These practices are used to give an indicative picture of the local living together.

In Lorentzweiler, 206 people took part in the survey, and the results are presented to the steering committee in 2026.
