Congratulations to your municipality or group of municipalities on your decision to join the Gemengepakt vum interkulturellen Zesummeliewen!
The Gemengepakt is signed between the Minister and a municipality or a group of municipalities and contributes to the implementation of intercultural living together at the municipal level. The Gemengepakt is valid for six years and can be renewed.
The Gemengepakt:
- contributes to the implementation of the National Action Plan for intercultural living together;
- is based on a participatory process aimed at identifying and defining the objectives and actions to be implemented at the municipal level;
- encourages residents of the municipality and cross-border workers whose workplace is located in the municipality to join the citizen pact and to participate in the modules offered as part of the programme;
- defines a step-by-step process and sets an implementation timetable;
- establishes measurable indicators to evaluate its implementation.
